T-Ball

 

 

 

   T-ball is to learn the basics of Baseball. We do not keep score, T-ball is not a Win/Loss sport. Children will learn bases, how to swing, how to "field" a ball as well as throwing to bases. TBall players will also learn the positions of players. This is a "fun" introduction into the very basics of Baseball. Helmets, Bats And balls are provided. Parents if you wish your child to have a glove you must provide. Cleats are optional.

 

 

 

 

Coaches/Machine Pitch is a more indepth introduction to Baseball.  The ball is "loaded" into an adult operated pitching machine. Children will learn Hand/eye coordination, catching, throwing running bases and player positioning. Outs do begin to count in this league. Helmets, Bats and balls are provided. Gloves are the responsibility of the parents. Cleats are optional.

 

 

 

Softball is for Girls. There are 2  divisions 8-9-10yr olds and 11-12-13 yr olds. In both Divisions the girls will travel for games. They will learning throwing, catching, player positioning and working as a team. Helmets, Uniforms, Bats and Balls are provided. Cleats and gloves are required at the responsibility of the parents.

 

 

 

 

Dixie minors is full regulation baseball. The league does provide uniforms, bats, balls and helmets. Cleats and gloves are required. Children will learn all rules and regulations of baseball. The 3 strike rules do apply. Scores and stats are kept for each game. Players can reach *All Star* potential.

 

 

 

Dixie majors is full regulation baseball. When children reach majors they should know all rules of the game. Majors can be very intense for children.The league does provide uniforms, bats, balls and helmets. Cleats and gloves are required. Children will learn all rules and regulations of baseball.
