Required forms: Wythe County Sign up form(can be downloaded on the forms page)
                        Copy of Birth Certificate
                              Rules & Demerit Sheet
                             Code Of Conduct Form (can be downloaded on the forms page)

Junior Varsity Cheerleading
 
Jv Cheerleading is open to girls in 3rd-4th grade. Cheerleading teaches girls memory skills, rythm and teamwork. Girls attend all JV football games to cheer for their team. The girls learn  a halftime routine to entertain and show off during football halftime.All teams in Wythe County get to participate in a cheerleading competition the last weekend of October. Stunts are taught for all girls. Stunts are under STRICT coaching supervision. It is required for 1st year cheerleaders to present a COPY of their birth certificate at sign ups. Per County rules, girls cannot participate in cheerleading unless a birth certificate is presented.  Pom Pom's and uniforms are provided.  White tennis shoes are required! Each child receives a trophy, T Shirt and socks each year of participation.
 
 
 
 
Varsity Cheerleading
 
Varsity Cheerleading is open to girls in 5th-6th grade. Cheerleading teaches girls memory skills, rythm and teamwork. Girls attend all  Varsity football games to cheer for their team. The girls learn a halftime routine to entertain and show off during football halftime.All teams in Wythe County get to participate in a cheerleading competition the last weekend of October. Stunts are taught for all girls.  Varsity stunts get more complex, using the skills learned in JV as a stepping stone. Stunts are under STRICT coaching supervision. It is required for 1st year cheerleaders to present a COPY of their birth certificate at sign ups.
